Anthony “Tony” Moreno, LPC
Tony Moreno joined the FSC Team in April 2020. He is a bilingual therapist, providing English and Spanish counseling as part of an Integrated Health Care team to individuals at St. Vincent’s House. Tony is a Licensed Professional Counselor, bringing 50 years of experience to FSC working with individuals across the lifespan and in all kinds of settings. He holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the Our Lady of the Lake University (1976) and completed his Bachelor in Science Degree in Biology at Saint Mary’s University in 1967.
Tony describes his therapeutic style as grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and will use techniques from multiple other models to meet the needs of the clients he serves. Tony has a strong interest in issues of psychosis and is constantly learning and adjusting the techniques he uses accordingly.
Tony was in the US Air Force from 1960-1964 and served in the Peace Corps from 1969-1971 in Turkey and Africa. He is passionate about his work and plan to continue this work as long as possible.
Tony enjoys woodworking, traveling, and fishing. A fun fact to ask him about is his Corvette.
